| So I was on my way to her house.
This strange song came on the radio.
I only ever tried to help you, I only ever failed in my task.
Today was not the last straw, cause I've got a whole field of hay.
I love you and respect you, but you don't understand what I ask.
And if this ends, then it is because of something you say.
It was a weird song. I had never heard it before.
Then I pulled up to the house.

| Her: Hey there.
Me: Hiya.
Her: So betcha didn't expect me to call the next day. Didya?
Me: Honestly. I don't know what to expect with you.
Her: *Probablly pouting* What's that supposed to mean?
Me: Nothing. I like surprises.
Her: Good. You'll like what we're doing tomorrow night then.
Me: Tomorrow night?
Her: Yes. Pick me up at eight. My address is ********************** (removed for protection of the parties involved).
Me: I have no clue where that is.
Her: Good. Half the fun is finding me. See ya tomorrow night.
*click*
And so there I was........

| The first kiss wasn't spectacular, nor was it forgettable.
Me: Well....
Her: That's all you can say is "welll...."?
Me: Sorry. Kinda shocked.
Her: So it wasn't good? *smirking*
Me: No, that's not it. Just wasn't expecting it. Well, I was when you
told me to shut up and started staring at me. But the kiss itself
wasn't what I was expecting.
Her: How so?
Me: Well, it was different. Not full of passion, not full of awkwardness, but deffinitely enjoyable.
Her: No passion?
Me: Sorry, it's just I've had more passionate kisses before.
Her: Oh really?!
Me: Yeah, though granted they came with lots of build-up to them, so don't be offended or anything.
Her: No. It's ok, I think I understand.
Me: Ok good, was worried there for a second.
Her: Well you should be. I don't generally like being told my kiss
isn't ranked up in the top three kisses of all time by the person I'm
kissing.
Me: Well if you want to try again I'd be more prepared this time.
Her: *laughter*
Me: Come on.
Her: Nope, not gonna happen. Only one kiss on the first date.
Me: *looking kind of defeated*
Her: Don't worry. I did say the first date, meaning that there could be more.
Me: Yes, but you just said "could" so this might be the one and only.
Her: Fine. There will be another date.
Me: And how much kissing usually goes on during a second date?
Her: *laughing again* We'll see.
I took her home and we parted ways........until the phone call.

| Me: So now that we just had that lovely meal what should we do?
Her: *stares at me*
Me: What? Did I get something on my face?
Her: *still staring*
Me: Come on, say something.
Her:*Sigh*
Me: That wasn't you saying anything. That was a sigh.
Her: You talk to much.
Me: I know. Sorry 'bout that.
Her: Shut up. *still staring*
Me: Ok.
..........................
to be continued

| After the dance:
Me: I really can't believe I just danced to that song.
Her: Yeah. It's great isn't it.
Me: You're so weird. How is it that a girl likes that song and is able to get me to dance to it?
Her: What can I say, I'm just special I guess.
Ackward silence
Me: So, wanna go get some coffee or something?
Her: I don't drink coffee, but ok.
Me: That's fine I don't either and I'm really in the mood for a burger or something.
Her: I'm vegan.
Me: *laughter*
Her: What's so funny?
Me: This is just too perfect. *still chuckling*
Her: Why's that?
Me: Because, I always seem to attract girls that have one thing about them that I possess the exact opposite quality.
Her: So you only eat meat?
Me: *not laughing as much* No....er.....ok, maybe not the exact opposite.
And so we went to find food.
love-
J
